Description
More and more finished goods now have to be modified or created in several different variations on the manufacturing line to accommodate consumer preferences. This requires much greater flexibility for factory operations and equipment when changing the product or format on a production line, for example, in a packaging facility.
The cabinet-free electric drive system, IndraDrive Mi, helps manufacturers meet those challenges with more flexibility and modularity. IndraDrive Mi eliminates drive electronics from the cabinet and lets machine designers mount a more compact controls enclosure directly to the machine—freeing up valuable plant floor space and reducing energy consumption for cabinet cooling.
